Conner COffin

Everyone’s style is a result of emulating those that inspire them. Conner Coffin has had the best muses.

Hailing from Santa Barbara, Conner grew up watching Tom Curren and Dane Reynolds destroy Rincon and it shows in his mature and refined approach.

Conner is a savant of power surfing; drawing classic lines with youthful aggression. His rail work is the kind of surfing that we never grow tiresome of watching for it’s the intersection of power and progression.

This year, Conner signed onto the Futures team and his articulate feedback has been fundamental in the development of upcoming projects. As he continues to shine on his rookie year on tour, his primary vehicle is the raked back template designed by Al Merrick. Conner has specific cants and flexes his likes and his boards are fine tuned around the consistency of his hand foiled custom fins.

Conner surfs with more drive than most, thus he prefers the rigidity of fiberglass to hold his line in head high to overhead surf. Heavy footed, Conner likes the feel of the Speed Control category on the Ride Number scale.

As a rookie on the WSL Championship Tour, every month presents a new learning curve for Conner. Venues he would call second homes are now seen through a difference lens. With this we embrace the challenge to perform under a new set of standards, underneath the foot of a true power broker.
